Forge works through multi-sheet drawings, follows the CONT'D sheets, and reads mixed-unit BOM columns properly — 37'-8" of pipe is 37.67 lineal feet, and a count of four elbows is four elbows. Every line lands with the page and the box it came from, so review is checking, not re-doing.

Spools scan through their stations on barcode kiosks, and the weld log is written at the machine, as it happens — welder, process, WPS, size. Progress is earned in weld man-hours and dia-inch, so percent-complete means something when it hits the invoice.
